This month we would like to focus on the country of Bangladesh, representing one of the key origins for our ALBATROS Sea-Air service.

Bangladesh has shown stable economic growth during the past 15 years, resulting in an average 5%-6% annual growth rate. Key drivers of the economy are firstly the agricultural sector in which over 40% of all workers are employed, followed by the industrial sector with 30%, where production of textiles and export of garments are the leading commodities. The country’s strongest export partners in order of ranking are the US, Germany, UK, France and the Netherlands.
